Martha Ellen Smith, age 90 of Jacksboro

Martha Ellen Smith, age 90 of Jacksboro, passed away Saturday, February 14, 2026. She was a member of the Heritage Baptist Church. She retired after many years of working in various factories. She was preceded in death by husband, Delmer Smith, daughter, Rita Moore, Son Andy Smith, parents, Otis and Bessie White Burris, sister, Mildred Heck, brothers, Dewey and Melvin Burris.

Survived by:

Daughter: Carolyn Smith

Sons: Eugene Smith and wife Gail, Kenneth Smith and wife Vanessa

Grandchildren: Lisa Longmire, Kennifer Smith, Eric, Brad, Stephen, Tyler, and Dusty Smith, Scott Moore, Daniel and Joyce Bolton.

13 Great-Grandchildren, 4 Great-Great-Grandchildren

Several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 17 from 5-7 PM at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with service to follow at 7 Pm at Cross-Smith Chapel with Rev. Fred Ward and Rev. Roger Hillard officiating.

Family and friends will meet at Cross-Smith Funeral Home Wednesday February 18 at 10 AM and proceed to Cumberland View Cemetery for 11 AM interment.
