Carl Blankenship, age 96, of Jacksboro passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2026.

He was of the Baptist Faith and owner of MT. Paran Motors for many years. Preceded in death by wife: Nora Blankenship, daughter: Sheila McGhee, parents: Archie and Martha Miller Blankenship, brothers: Leon Blankenship, Jerry McKinney, sister: Lillian Burress, great-grandson: Connor Lane, brother-in-law: Ola Gene Hatmaker

The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Friday, February 13, 2026 at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with service to follow at 7 PM in Cross-Smith Chapel, Rev. Jimmy Ault officiating.

Family and friends will meet at 10 AM Saturday at Cross-Smith Funeral Home and proceed to Jacksboro Cemetery for 11 AM Interment.
