Rev. Donald Allen, age 89 of Caryville

Rev. Donald Allen age 89 of Caryville passed away Thursday February 5, 2026. He had been pastor of Duff Baptist Church for the past 26 years and was a faithful and devoted pastor and Chaplain for 59 years. He was retired from Y-12 Plant in Oak Ridge after 22 years of service and was a US Air Force Veteran. Preceded in death by Wife: Betty Ward Allen, Parents: Samp and Rosa Allen, Sons in laws: Richard Yates, John Tallent, and Danny Wilbanks, Brothers: Odell, Farron, Larry Allen, Sister: Margaret Roylston, Granddaughter like a daughter: Misty Bray, Great Great Grandson: Skyler Ruiz.

Daughters: Donna Wilbanks and Danny Burress, Debbie (Lendon) Shelton, Deanna (Eddie) Meadows

Honorary Daughters: Karen Murray, Fredia Smith

The family will receive friends 4-6 PM Sunday February 8 at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with service following at 6 PM in Cross-Smith Chapel with Rev Justin Perry and Rev Jason Shockley officiating. Friends and family will meet at 10 AM Monday February 9 and proceed to Jacksboro Cemetery for 11 AM interment with military honors by Honor Guard of Campbell County with Rev JR Kitts officiating at graveside.
