CORBIN, KY (WLAF)- Campbell County Sheriff Wayne Barton was transported by Campbell County EMS to a Corbin hospital on Sunday, according to an official. It was said Barton was in Jellico when he began experiencing chest pains.

As Barton was being evaluated at the hospital, he went into cardiac arrest, according to the same official.
