City, town and county road crews spend weekend clearing snow, ice

Road crews will be back at it again Monday working to clear roads

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- Crews from the Campbell County Highway Department and the county’s municipalities were out in full force starting as early as Friday evening to clear snow and ice from roadways.

For long periods of time, wind chills below zero and temperatures in the single-digits were as much a challenge as was the snow and ice. Even though temperatures have been below freezing since Friday evening, Sunday’s sunshine went a long way in thawing away a lot of the wintry mix. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-02/02/2026-6AM)
