Tuesday morning’s low is near five-degrees with dangerously cold wind chills below zero

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- Extremely cold conditions are here this morning, and it will remain cold the remainder of the week. Another surge of bitter cold is possible Friday night into the weekend.

Tuesday opens around five above with wind chill values below zero. After Monday’s snow flurries, there will again be black ice on some roads. Cold sunshine and a high of 36 are on the way Tuesday.

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves. Keep pets indoors as much as possible.

It will remain cold the remainder of the week and into the weekend. Temperatures, highs and lows, will stay below freezing for the balance of the week.
