JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- At Tuesday’s Campbell County Commission meeting, a resolution was approved to make a “one-time, non-recurring contribution of $7,000” to the senior citizen’s centers, in addition to the $39,115 that has been allocated to the Campbell County Senior Citizen Centers in the FY 2026-2027 budget.
The $7,000 will be split 65/35, with the Campbell County Senior Center in LaFollette receiving $4,550 and the Jellico Senior Center receiving $2,450.

According to the resolution that was passed, the funds were realigned from non-recurring projected savings in the county Commissioners budget.
In other business, the 2026 Campbell County Road List was approved. Also approved by the commission was a Tennessee Valley Authority litter control agreement with Campbell County and a survey for Campbell County Airport. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-01/21/2026-6AM)
