JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- At Monday’s workshop, Campbell County Commissioners set the agenda for next week with the 2026 roads list and a Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) litter control agreement set for approval.
Recognition of several Campbell County government offices will continue under the service above politics initiative. Offices that will be recognized include Property Assessor Brandon Partin’s office, Clerk and Master Dennis Potter’s office and Road Superintendent Ron Dilbeck’s office.

During the workshop, County Mayor Jack Lynch said that he and the commission would be recognizing the Volunteers of the Year for Campbell County at the Tuesday, January 20, regular meeting. Those honorees are Litter Patrol Officer Glennis Monday as the adult volunteer of the year, and Campbell High Junior Sam Sexton is the youth volunteer of the year for Campbell County.

“These two will also be recognized in March with a trip to Nashville,” Mayor Jack Lynch said.
The entire body of the commission will be carrying this recognition at next week’s meeting.
Mayor Lynch also reported that the next Veteran’s Appreciation Breakfast would be held Saturday, February 7, from 8am through 10am at First Baptist Jacksboro. People’s Bank of the South is sponsoring this one.
Mayor Lynch also announced they already have sponsors for the whole year. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-01/13/2026-6AM)
