Glen David Bob Ranta, age 64 of LaFollette

Glen David Bob Ranta, age 64 of LaFollette, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 1, 2026, at his home. He was born on April 20, 1961, to the late William Robert Ranta and Sarah Ranta. Glen loved his family and his church family with all his heart. He also enjoyed his trains, he was very creative and loved doing projects. Glen was very devoted to his church, especially the children’s ministry.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Keith Ranta.

He is survived by his loving wife Donna Ranta; son Lance Ranta and wife April; stepsons Robert Kitts and MacGyver Kitts and wife Crystal; daughters Jamie Chapman and husband TJ; stepdaughter Erica Turner; brother Kirk Ranta and wife Debra; sister Sandra Ranta; special nephew Terry Ranta; grandchildren Chariot, Zeke, Riley, Harper, Angel, Heaven, Hazel, Sara, Nora, Zoey, Katie, and Korbyn; sister-in-law Neca and Greg Miller; brother-in-law Chris and Courtney Nelson and Kelly and Ni`na Nelson;  and a host of nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be from 12:00-2:00 PM on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Faith Way Assembly of God with the memorial service to follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. Steve Bruce and Rev. Allen Shephard officiating.

The family has entrusted the care of Glen David Bob Ranta to Martin Wilson Funeral Home “Where Families Matter Most”.
