The sun shined as the fifth annual Santa event traveled around town

Santa and Mrs. Claus rode through Caryville in style.

CARYVILLE, TN (WLAF)- Santa and Mrs. Claus traveled the streets of Caryville on Sunday afternoon spreading Christmas cheer.

Caryville Police escorted Santa on Sunday as folks parked along the route.

For the fifth Christmas season, sirens blared and lights flashed as Caryville Police escorted Caryville Fire Units as Santa and the Mrs. rode in the back of a fire department pick-up truck.

The annual Santa Tours the Town started at City Hall traveling to Lake Street and then Maple Street, more than 35 streets in all. East west, north and south, Santa toured the town under a sunny sky.

Richard Myers and Kathy Myers have appeared as Santa and Mrs. Claus every Christmas season during Santa Tours the Town.
