City’s Christmas Tree was lit Tuesday night

By Charlie Hutson
LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- According to the car thermo meter as James Hatmaker called it, it was 32 degrees with a bit of a breeze on North 5th street last night for the annual Lafollette Christmas tree lighting.
Even with the cold weather there was a healthy crowd for the event.
Music was performed by Judy Brown, Chuck Queener and Wayne Kitts.

The city provided cookies, hot chocolate and coffee to help keep the crowd warm.

So with the entire Pyro Show lit at Freeman Corner and the city Christmas Tree lit, I guess we are in full Christmas mode. As the girls at Common Ground would say “shop local”.
