Two vehicle crash sends one person to the hospital

Eastbound traffic on West Central Avenue was funneled into the turn lane

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- A white Jeep Grand Cherokee and a burgundy Cadillac CTS collided along West Central Avenue between First Baptist Church and McDonald’s. The accident happened at 12:49pm Wednesday near the west side McDonald’s entrance.

Airbags deployed in the Cadillac, and the driver of the Jeep was treated by first responders with Campbell EMS and transported to the La Follette Medical Center.

There was a suspected third vehicle turning into McDonald’s on South 7th Street that was not involved but may have allegedly contributed to the crash.
