Shutdown of portion of Old Jacksboro Pike will be a while

Tuesday turnover of 18-wheeler closed off east most entrance to Old Jacksboro Pike

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- Just before 8am Tuesday, a flatbed truck, loaded with plastic and headed to Dixie Concrete, overturned as it came down the incline from Jacksboro Pike into a bend on Old Jacksboro Pike.

The rig will have to be unloaded before it can be up righted and towed, according to one official. That will keep that section of OJP, across the four lane from Old Woodson’s/Old IGA, shutdown for an extended time.
