Man takes a hard fall, lands in a ditch, transported to hospital

La Follette Fire Department first responders on scene within seconds

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- A man was injured early Wednesday afternoon after he fell getting out of a wrecker, according to officials.

He fell in the 200 block of North 5th Street. The initial report was that the man ended up in a ditch.

First responders with the La Follette Fire Department were literally feet away in the 100 block of North 5th working on the Christmas Tree lighting.
