LFD Firefighters prep the large tree on Wednesday

Stringing the lights tends to be tedious task at times.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- Firefighters with the La Follette Fire Department “B” Shift rolled up just after 10:30 Wednesday morning to begin preparing La Follette’s Christmas Tree for the season.

The tree is located at the split of Nevada Avenue and North 5th Street.

Lights will be hung up and down again this season like last year rather than around the tree. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-11/19/2025-11AM)
