JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- Campbell opened the new basketball season with a home win over Oliver Springs on Tuesday night.

Preslee Chapman carried Campbell with 27 points to lead all scorers. Addy Coleman chalked up eight points as Reagan Davis had three, and Karlie Allen scored two while Ellie Faulkner and Taraji Abernathy had one each.

The Lady Cougars won the nip and tuck battle keeping Oliver Springs at bay as both team’s held leads at one time or another in the 46-43 contest.

Campbell is 1 & 0 while Oliver Springs is 0 & 1.

The Lady Cougars host Lenoir City on Thursday night at 6:00 on Brown Court.
