Caryville hiring for full time street dept. position

CARYVILLE, TN. (WLAF)- The Town of Caryville Street & Sanitation Department will be accepting applications for a Full-Time position.

APPLICATIONS FOR STREET & SANITATION EMPLOYEE

The Town of Caryville Street & Sanitation Department will be accepting applications for a Full-Time position. Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Must be able to lift as much as 75 pounds.
• Class B CDL License is preferred (must obtain within 60 days after hired date).
• Ability to operate mowing machines & backhoe is a plus.

Applications may be picked up at the Caryville Municipal Building located at 4839 Old Hwy 63 during normal business hours from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. The Town of Caryville will be closed for Veterans Day on Tuesday, November 11, 2025. We will reopen on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at 8:00 a.m. Deadline for applications is on Friday, November 21, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. The Town of Caryville is a Drug Free Workplace and performs pre-employment drug testing.
