Expected to open this weekend or early next week

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- The first McDonald’s opened at Woodson’s Mall in 1980. It later moved to Jacksboro. Within days, La Follette will once again have a McDonald’s. “I should be able to hand the keys over to them by Friday,” said Rex Adams, Construction Superintendent, on the new McDonald’s project.

You’ll be able to use the double drive through, use the walk up window, pull up and order on the app, use an indoor kiask or simply step up to the counter. Dine in or grab and go is your choice at the all new McDonald’s.

More pavement work is needed including striping and washing. On the inside, more finishing touches are being done.

Last minute touch ups and installs continue today at the soon to open McDonald’s.

Lots of crews worked Saturday and Sunday on the new Mickey D’s that sits between First Baptist Church and Main Street Shell.
