Robert L. Cardwell, age 78, of LaFollette Tn, went to be with the Lord on October 10, 2025. He is preceded in death by his Mother: Freddie Crowder, Stepfather: Swan Crowder, Sister: Sharon Cardwell, Brother: Jack Cardwell, Sister-in-Law: Carol Cardwell, Brother-in-Law: Perry Cox.

He was a believer in Jesus Christ, and he was a retired Truck Driver for USF Holland. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He is survived by His Wife of 56 years: Vivian Joyce Cox Cardwell.

Daughter: Sherri Cardwell Jones.

Son: Robert L. Cardwell Jr., and Wife Mary.

Grandchild: Abby Cardwell.

Sister: Swania Cox.

Family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00PM Monday October 13, 2025, at Cross-Smith Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet at 10:00AM on Tuesday October 14, 2025, at Cross-Smith Funeral Home and Proceed to Bakers Forge Cemetery for an 11:00AM Graveside and Interment Service.
