JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- Jack Reynolds was proud to say he was from Campbell County. It may also be said that Campbell County was proud of Jack Reynolds as evidenced by the community turnout right before Campbell County’s home football game on Friday night. They were there to remember Reynolds as the arch welcoming you to Reynolds Field was dedicated in his name.
“We’re just excited to be here in memory of dad, and it’s a special day. Dad loved Campbell County, he loved La Follette, he loved Jacksboro, he loved Caryville; the whole county. My grandmother was from Jellico.” said David Reynolds, Jack’s son.
“Well, it brings back a lot of memories as dad was driving his gator (in 2021) out here for the naming of the football field in his honor. We sure do miss ’em, Mother Mary Lou-Father Jack Reynolds, but it was a great night, and tonight’s a great night,” said daughter Betty Kay Reynolds Huskisson.
