The 39th annual Jellico High School Alumni Homecoming is set for the first weekend in October

JELLICO, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF)- When Jellico High School alums gather for their annual homecoming, they do it up in a most impressive manner. The 39th annual Jellico High School Alumni Homecoming is set for the first weekend in October, and those dates are Friday, October 3, and Saturday, October 4.

The North Green High School Huskies visit Clyde Tiller Stadium for a 7:30pm kick-off on Friday, October 3, for a clash with the Jellico Blue Devils.

It’s time for the “39th Annual Jellico High School Alumni Homecoming”, and the Alumni Association would like to invite you to attend the activities on Friday and Saturday, October 3rd and 4th at Jellico High School.

Friday, October 3rd

8:00 am – Registration for Golf Tournament. Begins at 9:00 am.  Contact D. J. Osborne at 423-912-4492 for details.

5:30 pm – 7:30 pm – Tailgate Party (grilled hot dogs with all the fixins, chips and drinks will be provided by the JHS Alumni Association). Cornhole tournament starts at 6:00 pm with $100 cash prize for the 1st place winner.  These activities will be at the back of the school.

5:30 pm – 11:00 pm – “Walk Thru Time” displayed in the school hallway.  “Meet and Greet” with refreshments served in the cafeteria.

7:30 pm – Homecoming ball game start time – Jellico Blue Devils vs North Green High School Huskies

Saturday, October 4th

10:00 am – Doors open for registration and “Walk Thru Time”

11:30 am – 1:30 pm – Lunch will be served in the cafeteria.  Menu: Turkey and Dressing with all the fixins catered by Vanessa Dupuy, Classy Threads and Catering with cost under $20 per meal.

 1:45 pm – Business Meeting in the auditorium.  2025 Honorees: Dr. David Williams, Class of 1975 and Randy Moses, Class of 1978.

Saturday Evening Events

6:00 pm – Doors open for an evening of excitement here at JHS.  Refreshments will be provided throughout the evening by JHS Alumni Association.  Roger Stanfill from the class of 1972 will provide the music for dancing and karaoke.
