LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- From Furnace Town, East Kentucky Avenue at 4th Street, to Beech Street to Cumberland Avenue to 1906 Jacksboro Pike, the La Follette Church of God has had many locations, five in all, since its founding in 1917. “We’re also celebrating our 40th year in our present location here on Jacksboro Pike,” said La Follette Church of God Bishop Michael Dent.

There was an extra special bulletin for Sunday.
Longtime member Peggy Puckett greeted all those who attended Sunday’s special service.

Sunday was the annual homecoming celebration at the La Follette Church of God, it’s 108th year in existence. “Today, we’re celebrating 108 years of La Follette Church of God being a part of Campbell County,” said Pastor Dent. This is a great time, he exclaimed.

Pastors Michael and Carolyn, his wife, Dent will celebrate their 9th year at the church here in a few days.
