Jonathan Tackett, David Perkins, Jennifer Gosnell, Justin Campbell, Kristopher Hill plead guilty

JACKSBORO, TN. (WLAF)- On July 7, five drug offenders entered guilty pleas before Eighth Judicial District Criminal Court Judge Zachary R. Walden and were remanded to Tennessee Department of Corrections (TDOC) custody for service of their sentence:

  • Jonathan Tackett pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell, possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia, and violation of community supervision. Tackett received an effective sentence of 15 years in TDOC custody.
  • David Perkins pleaded guilty to attempted possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell and deliver, possession of schedule 2 controlled substance with intent to sell and deliver, possession of schedule 3 controlled substance with intent to sell and deliver, and attempted possession of schedule 2 controlled substance with intent to sell and deliver. Perkins received an effective sentence of 10 years in TDOC custody followed by 10 years of supervised probation.
  • Jennifer Gosnell pleaded guilty to introduction of contraband into a penal institution, attempted possession of schedule 1 controlled substance with intent to sell and deliver, tampering with evidence, and possession of schedule 2 controlled substance with intent to sell and deliver. Gosnell received an effective sentence of 10 years in TDOC custody.
  • Justin Campbell pleaded guilty to possession of more than 0.5 grams of methamphetamine with intent to sell and received an effective sentence of nine years in TDOC custody.
  • Kristopher Hill pleaded guilty to driver under the influence: 2nd offense and possession of more than 0.5 grams of methamphetamine with intent to sell. Hill received an effective sentence of 12 years in TDOC custody.
