The life of Jean Burrus to be celebrated Friday evening

JACKSBORO, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF)- “We will be celebrating the life of Jean Burrus on Friday, July 11, at 6pm, at Hillcrest Baptist Church,” said Camilla Gambrel, TCAT Counselor.

The church is located at 140 Claiborne Lane in La Follette, next to Campbell County High School. “All are welcome to join us as we gather to honor her memory and the joy she brought to so many,” said Gambrel.

  1. Remembering this sweet lady and sending prayers for her family and friends as they grieve the loss of a very special lady.

  2. I was fortunate to have worked with Jean at TCAT. She was a friend to all and a special sounding board / unofficial advisor to many students. I’m certain that her willing ear to listen and encouraging words offered greatly assisted those students in completing their studies.
    She will be sorely missed by everyone who was honored in knowing her. May she Rest in Peace!
