‘Search involves lots of manpower including the U.S. Marshall ‘s Service’-LPD Lt. Matthew Forsyth

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- As a female victim, slashed with a knife, continues recovering from her wounds, law enforcement’s intensive manhunt is in high gear. “The suspect, Alejandro Mancera Canchola, is considered a very dangerous man,” said La Follette Police Lieutenant Matthew Forsyth.
The woman, said to be Canchola’s girlfriend, has been communicating with law enforcement, according to Forsyth. An apparent domestic situation escalated on Tuesday morning at the couple’s home at 412 South Avenue when Canchola allegedly attacked the woman.
“We have an arrest warrant in hand for Canchola as we vigorously attempt to locate him. We have a whole lot of man power on the hunt including agents with the U.S. Marshall’s Service,” said Forsyth.
Alejandro Mancera Canchola was last seen driving a white 2008 Toyota Corolla with Tennessee license plate 084 BNWN, according to La Follette Police Captain Charles Duff.
Duff encourages you to call 911 if you have seen or know the whereabouts of Canchola. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-12/20/2024-9AM)
