LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- It was a tree lighting cold 27 degrees Tuesday evening where North 5th Street meets Nevada Avenue.

West Lafollette Church members sang Christmas songs.

About 50 people turned out including Christmas songs performed by members of the West Lafollette Baptist Church.

City of La Follette Mayor Scott Kitts flipped the switch to light the tree.

Hot chocolate and coffee with cookies and baked goodies were provided by the City.  With those cold temps, no one hung around for long.   (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-12/04/2024-6AM)
