Four minor lot subdivisions approved

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- The Campbell County Regional Planning Commission met on Monday evening to approve several minor lot subdivisions.
First approved was a minor lot subdivision for Keith Tompkins on Sweet Gum Lane. County Planner Jordan Rockwell recommended approval.
Also approved was a minor lot subdivision for Mountain View Independent Baptist Church on Myers Lane. Rockwell recommended approval, saying he saw no issues with it. The church is “just selling some land to the adjoining property owner,” according to church representatives at the meeting.
Also approved was a minor lot subdivision for Michael and Rita Wallace on Stone Ridge Lane. According to Rockwell, it is a “simple subdivide.” However, the approval was made contingent upon the “property owner getting a sign off on the septic permit.”

A minor lot subdivision proposed by Linda Daily on Alder Springs Road was tabled until next month’s meeting. “It’s a simple two lot sub-divide of two and a half acres each,” Rockwell said. However no one was at the meeting to represent their request so the motion was tabled.
Planning commission members also tabled the vote and discussion on a minor lot subdivision for Kenny Moore on Lakemont Lane due to no one being at the meeting to represent their request.
Final business approved was a minor lot subdivision for Clint Siler on Kenwood Lane. This was approved on the recommendation of the county planner. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-12/03/2024-6AM)
