LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- Wednesday’s spring-like start will finish with a taste of winter. A cold front is heading toward Campbell County, and the colder air will send the mist, fog and light showers on their way this afternoon. Behind the front, cold winds and falling temperatures finish the day.
Today’s high in the 60s falls into the 50s by early afternoon and 40s by sunset. Wednesday night’s low slips to 36, which is cold by comparison, though the average low is 35. Expect brisk conditions tonight under clear skies before clouds build back in on Thursday.
Snow develops during the day Thursday with light snow accumulations on the Campbell County mountain tops by Friday morning.
Highs struggle to the lower to mid 40s Thursday and Friday with lows in the 30s, 33 Thursday night and 37 Friday. Friday’s rain and snow mix moves out Friday night.
Get set for sun and 50s Saturday and Sunday. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-11/20/2024-6AM-IMAGE COURTESY OF WEATHER UNDERGROUND)
