Janice Fay Lester Wright, age 80, went home to be with Jesus on Sunday, November 10, 2024 due to a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. She was a member of Cedar Hill Baptist Church. Janice was a hair stylist at Mildred’s Beauty Shop in the 1960’s. She was a happy homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother and caregiver to her family. She loved to sew, plant flowers, decorate and cook. She is preceded in death by her husband: Bobby Wright, parents: William and Nell Lester, siblings: Oralene Roark, Anna Lee Norman, Stanley Lester, Don Lester, Bill Lester, James Lester, Lloyd Lester, Earl Lester, Clara Mae Polson, Bernice Fox, Ronilda Benge, Leah Nell Marlow.
Survived by:
Daughters: Anna Maria (Greg) Smith of Jacksboro, Karen Leigh (Jason) Lollar
Granddaughter: Brynna Karason Wright Lollar of Jacksboro
Family Member: Miss Mary Smith of Jacksboro
Several special nieces and nephews whom she thought of as her own, along with many brothers and sisters-in-law.

Family and friends will meet at 12 Noon on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at Cross-Smith Funeral and proceed to Indian Creek Cemetery for 1 PM Graveside Service and Interment, Rev. Bryan Burge officiating.
