LAFOLLETTE, TN. (WLAF) – WLAF is hosting a Meet the Candidate forum for the November Election. The event will be aired over two evenings.  The forum will be brought to you by Big Creek Marine.

The first one will be Thurs., Sept. 12 at 6:30pm. On this evening, WLAF will present the Town of Caryville election. The second portion will be Thurs., Sept. 19 at 6:30pm and will feature the City of LaFollette election.

These will be live telecasts with a segment of the program featuring an opportunity for the community to call in with questions for the candidates. Any question presented to the panel must pertain to the operations of the city/town and upcoming election. Personal questions will be screened out.

Any candidate running in an uncontested race is invited to attend the night of your area’s telecast to speak for five minutes.

Forum packets have been to sent to all who qualified to run in the November election. If you haven’t received a packet by Aug. 24, contact WLAF at 423-562-1450 or wlaf@1450wlaf.com.

Candidates are asked to RSVP by Aug. 30 at 4pm.
