Commissioners set agenda for next week’s regular monthly meeting

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- County Commissioners met in their regular workshop on Monday evening to set the agenda for next week’s meeting. 

Several appropriation and funding resolutions will be on next week’s agenda, as will the approval of several grants and contracts, among other business items.

Action items on next week’s agenda include the approval of the Consolidated budget and Individual fund budget as well as approval of several appropriations resolutions and an Individual funding resolution. 

Also up to be approved is the Tax levy resolution beginning July 1, 2024.

In other business, Charles Turner with the Campbell County Health Department spoke briefly to commissioners regarding a health department contract with a telehealth provider.

“The funding for it is included in the DGA contract,” Turner said.

Also voted on next week will be recommendations for the Campbell County Library Board, as well as a Campbell County Board of Education lease agreement for a printer at Jacksboro Elementary.

Next week, commissioners will approve the application for multiple grants for the Campbell County Sheriff’s Department, including a TCI Equipment grant, and a school resource officer grant.

An Opioid abatement resolution will also be voted on, as will the purchase of awnings for the county’s trash compactors at the various sanitation and convenience centers.
