Leora Jeffers Boshears, age 69, of Jacksboro, TN passed away at Fort Sanders Medical Center on August 6, 2024 surrounded by her family. Leora retired from Campbell County High School where she worked as the special education secretary. She touched many lives during her time there. She was a faithful member of High Street Baptist Church.

If you knew Leora, you were blessed. Her grandkids would tell you that Mamaw had all the answers. If you didn’t know how to cook something, she could tell you how. If you got hurt, she knew how to make it feel better. She was always there when you needed her, and we needed her all the time. She had the best laugh and sense of humor. She loved reading in her spare time, but most of her time was spent with her family. She cared for and loved her husband Melvin for 50 years. Her grandkids were the joy of her life. Her heart was so full of love for those around her. Our lives will never be the same without her, and not a second will ever be spent where she is not missed.
