Winton H. Tinch, age 84, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday July 20, 2024. He was a husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and Sunday school teacher. Winton was a faithful member of Mountain View Baptist Church on Teague Lane in LaFollette. He loved fishing and working on the church was his passion. A retired electrician after many years working in his profession.

Winton is preceded in death by his son, Mark Tinch; parents Haskell and Martha Tinch; and brother, Steve Tinch.

He leaves his loving wife, Linda Tinch; sons, Darwin Tinch and wife Alice, Scott Tinch and wife Suzanna; daughters, Melissa Knight and husband Scott, Jennifer Bailey, all of LaFollette; grandchildren, McKenzie Tinch, Katie Siler and husband Robert, Nicholas Tinch and wife Laura, Leanne Mattie, Colby Bailey and wife Carlie, Kaitlyn Campbell and husband Dakota, Christian Tinch, great grandchildren Sebastian Tinch, and Draven Tinch, Brandon Siler and Tatum Bailey.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 from 5 PM to 7 PM at Forks Grove Baptist Church. Funeral service to follow at 7 PM with Rev. Tim Moore officiating. Family and friends will meet on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at 9:15 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home to go in funeral procession to Powell Valley Cemetery for an 11 AM interment.
