JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – County Commissioners discussed grant contracts and surplus items at Monday’s workshop session.
The approval of a $47,700 County Litter Control Grant contract will be on the agenda for next week, as will a grant contract with East Tennessee Human Resources Agency (ETHRA). The ETHRA grant is for $8,982 and is earmarked for the Campbell County Seniors Center.
The surplus of several items will be voted on next week. County Road Superintendent Ron Dilbeck sent a letter to commissioners asking for approval of the sale of a 2006 John Deere tractor “that is no longer in use.”
A computer system “damaged beyond repair” is also on the surplus list for the county maintenance department.
The Campbell County Sanitation Department will have surplus items added to the list by next week as well. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 07/09/2024-6AM)
