CAMPBELL COUNTY, TN. (WLAF)- The Campbell County Department of Finance is hereby accepting sealed bids on the sale of a trailer, air conditioner and temporary pole and all attached features that were declared surplus by the County Commission.

INVITATION TO BID

The Campbell County Department of Finance is hereby accepting sealed bids on the sale of a trailer, air conditioner and temporary pole and all attached features that were declared surplus by the County Commission. The trailer is located at 117 Church Alley, Jacksboro, TN 37757.

Awarded bidder must remove all of these items within 30 days of award of bid. If buyer fails to have the trailer removed within 30 days from notice of award, buyer will then forfeit the purchase price paid to the county and the trailer and the associated items will be re-bid.

Interested bidders can view the trailer Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. by contacting Tony Hill, Maintenance Supervisor at (423) 494-3140.

Sealed bids are due by 2:00 p.m. on June 17, 2024 at which time they will be opened and read aloud. Bids must be effective for 90 days after bid opening. All bids are to be mailed or hand carried to the Campbell County Department of Finance, P.O. Box 843, Jacksboro, TN 37757.

Campbell County reserves the right to reject any and all bids. All sealed bids must be noted on outside of envelope as bid for “Surplus Trailer Bid”.

Payment for the surplus trailer and associated items must be made by cash, certified check or money order, no personal checks will be accepted. Payment must be made to the county within three (3) days of notice of bid award.
