Loretta Jean Wells, age 88, of LaFollette passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2024. She was a member of Valley Fellowship Church of God. Preceded in death by loving husband and best friend Leodis (Carbide) Wells, son: Darrell (Brillo) Wells, parents: Curtis and Rosie Walden Bruce, brothers: Bill Ed Bruce and Danny Bruce, sister: Wanda Whaley.

Son: Dale Wells and wife Nancy

Grandchildren: Heather and Jeremy Young

3 Great-Grandchildren: Eli, Ian and Alex Young

2 Step-Great-Grandchildren: Maddyson and Andrew Young

Brother: Don Bruce

Sisters: Volena Brandenburg, Roberta Vinsant and Azie Watson

Several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Family will receive friends 5-7 PM Saturday, May 25th at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 7 PM in Cross-Smith Chapel, Rev. Anthony Leach officiating. Family and friends will meet 9:30 AM Sunday and proceed to Cumberland View Cemetery for 10 AM Interment service.
