LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – LaFollette Police Detective-Sergeant Noah Riggs was on patrol when he saw a vehicle traveling on Jacksboro Pike near West Beech Street with a driver’s side brake light not working. Riggs stopped the vehicle as the driver was pulling into Domino’s Pizza parking lot further east on West Central Avenue.
Riggs saw a small black baggie come out of the passenger side window to keep him from recovering evidence in this May 2 traffic stop, according to a report from the LaFollette Police Department.
When Riggs made contact with the driver, identified as Jason Allan McMurry, he stated that he was going home from work and did not have a drivers license. McMurry was placed under arrest and transported to the Campbell County Jail.
