LAFOLLETTE, TN. (WLAF)- Yesterday morning, Campbell County Children’s Center Staff along with local law enforcement and county officials gathered to recognize April as a significant time in child welfare.

April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month.

In support of the effort to prevent child abuse, a proclamation was presented.

Local child welfare agency staff took part in the event.
