JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – Services are set for Logan T. Hill. Hill, 20, passed away Monday from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol has released its preliminary report of an early morning fatal wreck in the Pinecrest community.

The victim was identified as 20-year old Logan T. Hill. The THP said at 3:45am Hill was driving a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado traveling south on Pinecrest Road, just south of Cumberland View Baptist Church.

Hill was attempting to negotiate a curve to the right on Pinecrest Road, straightened out the curve and ran off the left side of the roadway. The truck then struck a tree, according to the THP report.

Medical personnel with the Campbell County EMS pronounced Hill deceased on the scene. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 01/01/2024-9AM)
