JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – Multiple agencies responded to a house fire off Butter and Egg Road Sunday evening.
Neighbors say a police officer first spotted the smoke and alerted firefighters of the blaze. It was fully involved by the time we saw it, according to another neighbor.
It’s believed one person lived in the home, and that he made it out safely.

The second of three tornado warnings of the evening for Campbell County was in effect at the time the fire call came in just after 7pm Sunday.
Units from Campbell County Rural Fire Service, Caryville, Jacksboro and La Follette Fire Departments responded to the home on Tionesta Drive. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 06/11/2023-8:45PM-PHOTOS COURTESY OF CARYVILLE FIRE CHIEF EDDIE HATMAKER)
