BOE to consider 911 to have live views through school cameras in event of a school emergency
JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- The Campbell 911 Center and Campbell Board of Education are considering enabling the dispatch team access to a school’s security camera system in the event of a qualifying school emergency. That access would come through 911 operators being permitted to see live views through a school’s security camera system during the pendency of an emergency occurring on school property that threatens life, bodily harm or significant damage to property.
Campbell County 911 and the Campbell County Board of Education will consider a memorandum of understanding (MOU) at this evening’s regular monthly meeting of the BOE. That’s at 6pm at the courthouse. Connect HERE to page 34 to see the MOU.
Also on the agenda is the election of a new chairman and vice-chairman of the board of education. See the full agenda HERE. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 09/10/2024-6AM)
