
It was a busy lunch hour along Main Street at Jacksboro on Friday

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – The 4-H Grillmaster Team hosted a huge cookout fundraiser Friday at the UT Extension Office at Jacksboro. Proceeds from the event go toward paying for 2024 contest prep supplies.

The young grillmasters learned the art of smoking meat, creating barbecue sides as well as hosting the fundraiser.

Sheriff’s Sergeant David Goins was there to get a barbecue lunch and is the grandfather of 4-H member Coleman Foust who had just left. Left to right are Bailey Ball, Sarah Stoutenburg, Goins and Susanna Stoutenburg .
A $20 ticket treated supporters to a menu of a pulled pork sandwich, pickles and pickled onions, homemade BBQ sauce, cole slaw, baked beans, cornbread, banana pudding and a choice of a soft drink or water. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 07/01/2024-6AM)
