Heather Chadwell is the new Executive Director of Postmark LaFollette

Heather Chadwell

LAFOLLETTE, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF)- Effective September 4, 2025, Heather Chadwell assumed the position of Executive Director of Postmark LaFollette. Over the past 22 months, Heather has continued to take on various aspects of Postmark’s day-to-day operations, helping us maintain our presence in the community. We are happy to continue our ability to “grow our own” and promote those who are strong components of our core group. Heather has participated in Leadership Campbell County and attended several STEM and STEAM Workshops, as well as culinary workshops, and continues to develop our Enrichment Program.

Catherine Patty

Catherine Patty, Manager of our Artisans Market, became an employee of Postmark LaFollette, effective September 4, 2025. Catherine has been part of the Artisans Market at Postmark since its inception in February 2021. Her contributions to the growth of the Artisans Market are too numerous to mention. Since the Artisan Market’s inception, Catherine has volunteered to work every Monday to maintain consistency in the market. Each year, Catherine has taken on additional duties, including scheduling and training, to maintain shop hours.

Postmark LaFollette’s Board of Directors is pleased to continue seeing the growth of Postmark with the help of these two dedicated individuals.

We also want to take this opportunity to thank all the volunteers who help bring our various projects to fruition. Their creativity and understanding of our mission are noteworthy. We would be remiss if we did not thank all our grant funders, which vary from year to year. The Tennessee Arts Commission and the East Tennessee Foundation are the two organizations
from which we have received funding for 2025 and 2026. Our corporate supporters and private contributors are listed on our website, but without their support, we would not be able to offer the variety of programming.

Outside of having funding to support two paid positions, our Board is entirely volunteer based, unless they are working as an instructor or an assistant on a project. We pride ourselves on being able to demonstrate economic development by making every effort to pay instructors and assistants from our local community.

Anyone who seeks more information on the variety of programs we offer or has some ideas they’d like to see us offer at Postmark, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us at postmarklafollette@gmail.com, or follow us on Facebook–Postmark LaFollette. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-09/12/2025-6AM)
