JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – Jacksboro Elementary School was recognized by the Campbell County Board of Education on Thursday evening with a banner for being an “A school and a Rewards school.”

Director Fields said Jacksboro Elementary held a special place in her heart since she had taught there for 18 years.

“It is like home to me, and I know, as with any other school in the county and the teachers, I know the time and effort and dedication and attention that you put into your job and I am so happy to be able to recognize you tonight for being an A school and a Rewards school,” Director Fields said.

She “commended the school and teachers and the students” for all the hard work they put into earning the achievement.
