Two DUI arrests made on Tuesday

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – Two Campbell County men, in unrelated instances, were arrested for driving under the influence (DUI) on Tuesday.

A Tennessee Highway Patrol Trooper arrested 49 year old Christopher Lynn Chambers on Tuesday afternoon. Chambers was pulled over on Wooldridge Pike just before four o’clock and charged with his second DUI, according to jail records.

Tuesday night at 10:12, a Campbell County Sheriff’s Deputy performed a traffic stop on Highway 25W and arrested 62 year old Robert Milton Stafford. Stafford is facing a DUI charge, his second, based on records at the county jail.

Chambers, 668 Jakes Branch Road, Pioneer, and Stafford, 179 Kenwood Lane, La Follette, are free on bond and due in court on Tue., April 16. Chambers bond is $10,000 while Stafford’s is $12,000. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 04/04/2024-6AM)
