Five structures that were in danger were saved

DUFF, TN (WLAF) – Around Archer Lane at Roses Creek on the north side of Campbell County is where firefighters spent Saturday afternoon battling a brush fire.

Units were called out at 1:21pm and fought fire until after 5pm Saturday. Five structures were in danger and were able to be saved.

On the scene were firefighters with the White Oak Volunteer Fire Department, the Jellico Rescue Squad, with a tanker and the Tennessee Division of Forestry. The Campbell County Sheriffs Office also responded.
