Donna Susan Adkins Prater, age 73, of Jacksboro passed very peacefully at home with family by her side. She retired from Campbell County School System after 25 years and taught piano for many years. She was a member of Rocky Top United Methodist Church and organist. Preceded in death by Parents: E. L. and Anna Lee Hughes Adkins, Niece: Melissa Byrd.

Husband: Eugene Prater

Daughters: Whitney Lauren Prater and Whitney Rebecca Doney

Sons: David Prater and Dennis Prater

4 Grandchildren

Brothers: Jimmy Adkins and Greg Adkins

Sisters: Vickie Woodard and Jane Jones

Several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Family will receive friends 5-7 PM, Friday, April 12th at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with Celebration of Life to follow at 7 PM in Cross-Smith Chapel, Rev. Dave Henderson officiating.
