Scholarship opportunity for high school seniors

Entries for Judy Barton Memorial Tourism Scholarship being accepted

HARROGATE, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF) – The Cumberland Gap Region Tourism Association (CGRTA) is accepting entries for the Judy Barton Memorial Tourism Scholarship.

Any high school senior attending a public or private high school within the ten counties, which includes Campbell, of the Cumberland Gap Region may compete in the Judy Barton Memorial Tourism Scholarship Speech Competition on Thu., April 25 for a $1,000 college Scholarship.

The ten counties making up the CGRTA are Whitley, Knox, Bell and Harlan in Kentucky along with Lee in Virginia and Tennessee counties Campbell, Claiborne, Union, Grainger and Hancock. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 03/26/2024-6AM)
