Christine Smith, age 78, of LaFollette passed away Thursday, February 29, 2024. She was a member of Fincastle Church of God. Preceded in death by Husband: Harold Smith, Son: David Ray Smith, Parents: Mack and Maggie Williamson Malicoat, Sisters: Betty McCarty, Mabel Collingsworth, Gladys Cantrell, Irene Ford, Cloeva Boshears and Mary Sue Malicoat

Daughter: Lisa Meadors and husband Joe

Sons: Jeff Smith (Emma Hill), Junior Smith and wife Sherry, Greg Smith

Grandchildren: Crystal and Nate, Nick and Morgan, Josh, Kasie, Chelsie Nicole, Bailey, Cristie, MaKayla

Great-Grandchildren: Tenley, Emery, Ridley, Blakely, James, Joseph

Brother: J. T. Malicoat

Sisters: Patsy Chapman, Alene Heatherly, and Alice Chapman

Several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 4-6 PM, Sunday, March 3rd at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow at 6 PM in Cross-Smith Chapel, Rev. Anthony Leach and Rev. Mike Smith officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:15 AM Monday and proceed to Woodlawn Cemetery for 11 AM Interment.
