Relief Fund’s objective is raise and accept funds to benefit CCHS students through scholarships

JACKSBORO, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF) – The Campbell County High School Relief Fund (CCHSRF) has created a new event that highlights Campbell County’s most prominent terrain feature. A challenging course, here is your chance to say you made it to the top of Eagle Bluff.

The Sat., May 4th, event starts (8:30am) and ends at the vacant lot to the back and north of the Eagle Mart at 3070 Appalachian Highway, Jacksboro. Starting on Eagle Bluff Road, you will head toward the mountain. In time, you will turn right and take the gravel road and a series of three switch backs to the trail that leads to the top of Eagle Bluff. This is where you will turn around after taking a photo overlooking the valley and head back down the hill to the finish line. You will cover a course just a little more than four miles and climb 930 feet in elevation.

The next time you drive along the four lane and look up at the mountain, you can say, “I conquered the Bluff!”

The proceeds from this event will fund future Campbell County High School scholarships. Since 2006, the Fund has awarded forty-five college scholarships totaling $67,500. With your generosity, this amount will continue to grow.

Total Race Solutions is administering the race. Two deep awards will be made in 17 Categories.  You may register HERE. The fee is $30.

Not interested in racing? You may still register online and choose the “sleeping but supporting” option. Your donation will go to fund the same scholarships.
